100th Day of School
Hillary Wycoff

The 100th day of school is a fun day filled with a lot of celebration, especially for the kindergarten students.  There day was all about the number 100.  The students and teachers all dressed up as if they were 100 years old.  Along with the dressing up, the students did activities all day long that involved the number 100.  The students spent the morning in the gym doing activities such as, hoola hooping 100 times, stacking 100 cups, painting with 100 dots, and making necklaces with 100 Fruit Loops.  The students were practicing counting to 100 all throughout the day as well.  The highlight for the students was a visit from "100s Man."  He came to spread excitement to the students about the number 100 and all count to 100 hundred together.  "100s Man" is Mr. Pinto's "twin brother," and he always helps make this day fun and memorable for the students. The students enjoyed the day and the enthusiasm of the 100th day of school could be felt throughout.
