4th Grade Lemonade Wars
Hillary Wycoff

4th Grade students at Cole Elementary worked together with a group of their peers to create the best lemonade stand they could in order to entice younger students to spend their money at their lemonade stand.  After reading the book, Lemonade Wars in class, the students had their own lemonade wars.  They got to create the type of lemonade they would sell, as well as what other items they would have with their lemonade.  There was lemonade with Pop Rocks in it, all the way to lemonade slushies.  Students sold chips, squishies, bracelets, and many other things at their stands in addition to their lemonade.  Students in first and second grade were given a certain amount of money to spend by their teachers, and they had to decide which lemonade stand they would buy from.  4th grade students created signs, played music, and many other things to bring the younger students to their stands.  They worked hard on their products and were successful in their ability to provide what the students wanted.
