Kindergarten and first grade students spent a whole afternoon outside doing various fall activities with their classmates at the Cowboy Roundup.  Parents volunteered to help run different stations as the students rotated to each one to participate in the fun.  Some of the stations included were three-legged races, sack races, a bonfire with s'mores, duck-duck-goose, and coloring.  Each class had the opportunity to participate in each station, and the smiles and laughter of the students were contagious with the fun they were having.  It was a beautiful day for the students to be outside and participate in something fun and engaging.  Kindergarten and first grade teachers worked hard to prepare the materials and stations, then the parents ran the activities so teachers could enjoy the fun with their classes.  Kindergarten and first grade participates in this every fall, and it is always a favorite day for the students.
