Tippecanoe School Corporation
Fundraiser Incentive
Hillary Wycoff

The Cole PTO has a fundraiser to start the beginning of each year, and along with the fun prizes the students receive for what they sell, there is a special incentive for top sellers for the fundraiser.  Each student that sold 10 items or more got their name put into a drawing to pie a teacher or Mr. Pinto in the face in front of the whole school.  The more the students sold, the more times their name was put into the drawing.  The students and staff had a wonderful time being a part of this.  The laughter and joy could be heard all throughout the building, and the students all had the biggest smiles on their faces, even if they were not the one to pie someone in the face.  Mr. Pinto received most of the pies in the face with all the teachers receiving at least one.  They were all good sports and loved to bring happiness to the students.  Mr. Pinto even got a little revenge with getting some pie on a student!  Not only does this incentive motivate students to sell a lot for the fundraiser so the PTO can do wonderful things for the school, it is also a great connector between staff and students.
