A highlight of Cole Elementary students is getting to partake in the fourth grade field trip to Camp Tecumseh.  This is an overnight trip where students get to share a cabin with their friends and spend two days outdoors enjoying all the different activities that camp has to offer.  This trip is well planned and requires a lot of working, even from the chaperones, who have to be trained to be guides for the students during their time at camp.  Their two days at Camp Tecumseh are packed with activities such as hiking, canoeing, archery, fun slides, camp fires, and much more!  The memories that the students make on this trip are ones that stick with them and share as their favorite moments from their time at Cole after they leave.  This trip provides opportunities for students to participate in things that they may never have encountered without going on the trip, and it leaves the students with new knowledge and countless memories that they will never forget.
