Kindergarten and first grade participated in their annual fun, outdoor fall party.  This elaborate afternoon takes a lot of work and planning from the teachers, as well as parent volunteers to help with the different activities during the party.  There were different stations that all the students were able to participate in, such as cornhole and different games, caramel apples, s'more making, sack races, and crafts.  The students rotated through the different stations with their classmates while the parent volunteers ran the activities.  A new addition to the Harvest Hoedown was a tractor ride, which was a favorite by all.  First grade teacher, Mrs. Reichart's husband, John, was responsible for bringing lots of joy with the special tractor ride.  After all the students made it through the different activities, the day ended with teachers teaching the students a line dance and having a dance party before leaving for the day.
