Kindergarten Students Make Gingerbread Houses
Hillary Wycoff

As part of the Christmas festivities and celebrations, the kindergarten students spent an afternoon decorating a gingerbread house with a special guests.  The students could invite one person to come to the school and decorate with them.  Moms, dads, grandmas, grandpas, and many other special people came to be with their student and help make a spectacular gingerbread house.  The students decorated the houses with icing, sprinkles, and many different types of candy.  After they completed their houses, they were able to take them home to display their hard work!  This time was a special afternoon for the students with Christmas music in the background, hot chocolate and cookies to share, and a place to take pictures to remember their time together.  Students and guests alike had smiles on their faces during the whole afternoon, and it was a wonderful part of the Christmas season.
