Happy Pig Day!  Did you know it's the best day to eat pig food and dance pig dances and sing pig songs?  First Grade does, as they did all those things and more when they celebrated Happy Pig Day!  Based on the Piggie and Gerald book by Mo Willems, the first graders made Pigs in a Blanket and created their own pig songs, dances, and games that they shared with the group.  The fun afternoon ended with making Piggie and Gerald puppets to retell the stories at home.  As they said in the book, "OINKY OINK OINK!"  (That's Happy Pig Day in pig!)
