She Leads is in it's third year of being a program at Cole Elementary.  This program is a branch off of the Cole Professional Academy, and the focus of it is to work with the fifth grade girls in a more personal setting that specifically focuses on being a leader as a young lady.  She Leads meets four times throughout the school year, and each meeting focuses on a different pillar of leadership.  The four pillars that She Leads focuses on is leading with pride, kindness, respect, and confidence.  For each of the meetings, a guest speaker comes in to talk about one of the pillars and how they use it and see it used in their workplace.  Each of the guest speakers shares about their career, and what they went through to get to where they are today.  The speakers are strong, women leaders in the community, and they show different opportunities to the students now and in the future.  Another bonus of She Leads is that the 5th grade girls are introduced to different careers that they might not have known anything about and could align with their interests.  She Leads is a growing program that changes each year to be better for the students and help them become strong, confident young ladies to take on leadership roles in school and in the future.
